Who we are

Golf Travel Passport is provided by LYQX. It is a companion app for guided golf tours run by independent tour operators who invite you to your trip. This policy explains what the app stores and why.

What we collect

  • Account — your email address, name and optional profile photo, used to sign you in and show you to your tour group.
  • Trip data — your tour enrolments, itinerary details your operator assigns to you (room, flights, tee groups), logged golf rounds, scores and achievements.
  • Optional interests — favourite drink, song or courses, if you choose to add them, shared with your tour operator to personalise your trip.
  • Location — used only while the app is open, to show distances and nearby places on maps. It is never stored on our servers or shared.
  • Photos — only the ones you attach to chat messages or logged rounds.
  • Push token — a device identifier so trip announcements and messages can reach you.

What we never do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or share personal data with anyone beyond your own tour operator and the service providers below. Payments are never handled in the app.

Service providers

Data is processed by Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Google Firebase (push notifications), Google Maps Platform and Mapbox (maps, places and route information). Each receives only what is necessary for its function.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile details and interests at any time in the app. Deleting your account (Profile → Personal Details → Delete account) permanently removes your profile, passport stamps, rounds and trip history. Location and notification permissions can be withdrawn in system settings.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account it is removed permanently, along with your passport stamps, rounds and trip history. Turning off notifications for Golf Travel Passport in your phone's Settings stops any further push delivery.

Children

Golf Travel Passport is intended for travellers aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
